The Beginning

Established in 2004, after a drinking session between myself, Dave McCready and Mark MacDonald, Hardgate FC was born. Of course at this point we had three players, four after we bribed Craig with an offer of Flumps (that he never recieved). We were of course overjoyed when all we knew were willing not just to play, but chip in and work hard to get things going.

The Early Stages

After phoning around some leagues, we found that the best available was The Strathclyde Saturday Morning AFL, thankfully due to league reconstruction we were granted entry into the new Division 3.

Having payed our entry fee and registrations we invested in some Man City away tops and Newcastle Utd shorts.

We were ready to go.
